A pedimented mirror with an inverted profile, framed in blackened wood and a rare wide fillet of aged mirror, on burr walnut veneered backgrounds.
The mirror is richly decorated with gilded and embossed brass with floral naturalistic decoration.
The pediment is centred on a large flower between two dolphins around volutes and foliage.
The spandrels are richly decorated with flowers.
Original bevelled mirror.
Louis XIV period , very good condition .
