Offered by Marc Menzoyan
Bronze group published by Soyer and Ingé between 1825 and 1850, representing Venus consoling Cupid, originally a marble model, sculpted by James Pradier in 1836 (n°102 in the inventory of Pradier's catalogue of works). Good overall condition, original patina, bun/green nuanced (wear and oxidation from age visible in the photos). Presence of the Pradier signature and that of the founder.
