A Sèvres soft-paste porcelain 3rd size covered ecuelle à bouillon and lobed-edged display stand with polychrome and gold decoration of blue and pink tulip flowers interspersed in a wide band, also known as “de clochettes bleues et rouges en teintes dégradées”, and garlands of flowers standing out against a dotted gold background; band and gold fillet around the edge of the decoration and at the foot. Branch-shaped grip and double gold handles. Marks in blue with 2 interlaced Ls, the display with the letter-date O for 1767 and painter Ménard le jeune (1756-80), the bouillon with the date kk for 1787, painter and gilder Buteux fils (1763-1801).
