Octagonal display stand on pedestal in Chinese porcelain with Green Family polychrome decoration of peonies, a branching bird and a butterfly; wide braid on the wing with a green background dotted with black, composed of flowering branches alternating with four reserves containing crickets and butterflies. The underside is adorned with floral scrolls, a green braid trimmed with geometric motifs and clouds, and a frieze of clouds. Foot also decorated with flowering branches and friezes. Kangxi period (1662-1722).
