Apothecary's pot Brussels end of 18th century

An earthenware apothecary pot on a white pedestal, decorated in blue underglaze with a pharmaceutical inscription ‘S.DE.MENTHA’ (mint syrup) in a cartouche of foliage with two perched birds, carnations and passementerie motifs framing an imp's head.
