All sides, in amaranth veneer, opening with three drawers. Moulded top with spandrels of foliage, trimmed in gilded wine-lees morocco. It rests on four cambered legs adorned with falls extended by a chamfer and finished with foliate sabots.

Rich ormolu ornamentation such as drop handles, lock escutcheons, moustaches framing the slightly recessed central drawer, bronze appliques on the sides depicting the face of a woman crowned with flowers (perhaps the allegory of spring).
