17th & 18th centuries Furniture and Statuary
Rare and very decorative well clock in gilded bronze and marble.
A three-post arch, topped with a flowered basket and finely decorated with rows of pearls, supports the dial with fine chiseled hands, the "sun king" pendulum and the small water bucket.
The whole rests on the crown of a well in veined gray marble imitating stone and with a gilded bronze rim.
The square base in white marble is surrounded by a row of gilded bronze pearls. Four terminals of the same marble as the well are adjusted in the corners and hold falling chains.
The original movement strikes the hours and half hours.
It has been completely revised by our watchmaker.
