Exceptional fine Ghoum carpet by Maitre Mohammad Jamchidi, made of silk velvet on silk foundations, velvet, warp, weft and bangs.

Featuring a rare "garden" decoration with six rows of five boxes inlaid with stylized carpets, thrones, temple doors and palaces in the antique style, as well as garden kiosks, stylized flower sprig compositions, garden landscapes, as well as chalices, mirhabs, hanging oil lamps, and polychrome diamonds and colored stones surrounded by stylized gutters feeding water streams to the boxes symbolizing life and creation in the garden.

Four borders decorated with semis of cartouches inlaid with motifs reminiscent of the central field and with polychrome animal decorations.
