Elegant sloping desk called “donkey back desk” in solid cherry wood on all sides, slightly curved on the front and on the sides.
It is geometrically decorated with amaranth wood nets as well as numerous six-pointed stars.
It opens in the lower part with three drawers, in two rows, decorated with gilded bronze handles.
The back of the flap is trimmed with tan brown morocco highlighted with a golden border on the small irons.
The interior reveals a pretty tier with two scrolled shelves surrounded by six small curved drawers. In the center a hiding place for “secret letters” is hidden under the shelves.
This charming desk rests on a refined curved base with gilded bronze shoes.
The external face of the legs is highlighted with a strip of amaranth wood to assert the elegance of the curve.
