Small round gold box with two parts. The base and lid are decorated with a radiant sun surrounded by a border of foliate scrolls. The rim of the lid is decorated with a frieze of striated fruit flanked by leaves, punctuated by lattice work. The dish is entirely streaked with circular lines. Circa 1820-1830
Punch: 18K in a rhombus and 2 trefoils.
Master silversmith's hallmark: AM for Morlet A., inscribed in 1814.
