French Regence period box

This elegant case is made of violet and rosewood veneer, curved on all sides and decorated with a poly-lobed reserve in the center of a curly veneer, with a heart-shaped motif on the lid. The interior is veneered with diamond-shaped motifs highlighted with black fillets. It retains its period lock, but we do not have its key.
First half of the 18th century.
