Louis XV period natural beech desk armchair with cane base

Gondola-back model with median front leg.
It features beautiful molding, elegant movement of the armrests and fine carving of flowers on the foot falls and the centers of the front crosspieces. The back and seat are cane-bottomed.
The backrest and seat have a cane base; the leather "galette", decorated with small irons, has been reworked to match the model (good seat height: 45-46 cm).

Quality Parisian work from the second half of the 18th century.
