Old and Alsatian furniture and paintings
Rare corner piece of furniture, designed according to the design of the so-called Olmer sideboard which reigned in the stube in Alsace in the 18th and 19th centuries. These original pieces of furniture integrated into their structure an open space between the high and low bodies, they often housed pitchers, bottles and cups, or any other everyday utensils.
This corner sideboard has a curved facade, made of walnut with softwood backs, the doors are fixed to the frame by hinges, with a very particular design, made of wrought iron, called pigtails.
18th century period
