End-18th century box with miniature.

Round box in grey composite material lined with brown tortoiseshell. The removable lid is decorated with a miniature on ivory representing a young woman in an undergrowth. She is dressed in a blue chequered dress with a ribbon around her waist and a red shawl covering her shoulders. She is wearing a white headdress.
Foreign work probably Dutch, early 19th century.
