Elegant Régence period chest of drawers generously curved on the front and sides.
It opens with four drawers in three rows inlaid in frieze with four violet wood leaves in reserves. Very nice decor that can also be found on the sides.
The crosspieces are dark with large brass grooves.
The drawer interiors are in solid walnut.
The pinched uprights, adorned with openwork gilt bronze scraps, end in small arched feet embellished with wide sabots.
Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes in the pure ''Rocaille'' style (handles, keyholes, clogs, openwork bronze on the crosspiece, falls...)
Molded ''Flanders red'' marble top.
