François Garnier (died October 20,1774) : Father of the famous Pierre Garnier, we do not
know much about its production before the re-obligation to stamp in 1743. He worked rue
Faubourg Saint-Antoine throughout the reign of Louis XV. The few signed pieces of furniture that appear on the market from time to time bear witness to a real talent.
He ceded his fund to his son in 1754.
