Beautiful and elegant little writing table in violet wood opening with two drawers on the front and two false drawers on the other, resting on four arched legs finished with gilded bronzes.
It is provided with its original leather.
Lady's furniture, stamped Pierre BONNEMAIN, received Master on July 23, 1751.
He was born in 1723 and died in 1800. Elder brother of Antoine, he worked on rue Traversière. He is mentioned as the maker of a large commode en tombeau decorated with geometrical marquetry and rocaille bronzes, and as a specialist of small Louis XV veneer desk tables.
