Bronze statue from the early 20th century (circa 1930) depicting Diane huntress by Pierre Lefaguays. Signed on the base and produced by the founder SUSSE in Paris confirmed by signature stamp and monogram. Originally nuanced green patina, very nice general condition according to its age.
Pierre Le Faguays is a French sculptor born in Nantes (1892/1962) debuted with Vibert as a teacher at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva, exhibited at the Salon des Artists Français and a medal of honor in 1927 confirmed this sculptor among the most representative of the Art Deco style.
