Sèvres soft-paste porcelain tray for a 'Déjeuner du Roy', of the second size. It is decorated in puce camaieu with two putti on clouds, studying astronomy, after François BOUCHER, and five birds on the border.
Interlaced Ls factory mark enclosing the date-letter 'g' for 1760.
Painter's mark recently attributed to Paul-François-Marie ROBERT (active from 1757 to 1761 and in 1764).

Excellent condition
The source is the engraving 'L'Astronomie' by Louis Félix de LA RUE, taken from the 'Livre des Arts' published by Huquier (see photo).

The objects are on display at our gallery located rue de Beaune in central Paris, where they can be examined and picked up by appointment.
No packing or shipment cost is included in the selling price.
