Large vases pair Japan porcelain 19th century

Pair of large arita porcelain baluster vases, 19th century Japan, decorated with gold flowers on a blue background, and birds in cartouches on a white background. Exceptional ormolu mounts with wide handles decorated with rushes, linking a re-pierced neck to a wide base decorated with foliate scrolls. Two porcelain lids adorned with a pinecone fretel.
