Small Louis XV chest of drawers known as "sauteuse", in rosewood marquetry, curved on three sides, from the 18th century.
Its four feet are beautifully curved and decorated with hooves on the front.
This charming chest of drawers bears the stamp of Charles Joseph DUFOUR, received Master on December 3, 1759
It is wearing a Royal Red marble

Beautiful ornamentation of golden bronzes
Charles Joseph DUFOUR worked rue de Bercy until 1769 then he settled in rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine. He intervened as an expert in 1772 in the inventory after the death of his colleague Joseph Baumhaur.
He mainly produced Louis XV furniture of classic model, in particular dressers, corner tables, secretaries ...
