Exceptional polychrome carved wood corner console with acanthus leaf and pinecone decoration, resting on two curved front legs, linked by a carved crotch crosspiece.
It is surmounted by a mercury corner mirror decorated with a large wooden pediment carved with flowers, scrolls, acanthus leaves and laurel garlands.
The mirror frame is carved with pearls in the Louis XVI style.
Originating from a large Italian home, this piece of furniture was originally made in northern Italy.

In very good condition (missing a small scroll and a gilded ring on the pediment).
