A crossbow-shaped chest of drawers with a projecting back; it is inlaid on a veneer of wire amaranth with reserves of wide ebony fillets highlighted with brass. It opens with four drawers in three rows, rounded uprights with wide brass fluting and projecting rear uprights.
The top is encircled by a bronze moulding with fleurons and features a geometric decoration of brass fillets.
The legs are made of bronze with cavet; rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes: fleuron frames, mascaron lock escutcheons, draw handles, base.
Parisian work from the Louis XIV period
