Rare garden furniture in wrought iron, sheet metal and bronze composed of six chairs and two curule stools.
The “X” legs ending in gilded bronze claws support rectangular pressed sheet metal seats and lyre backs ending in swan necks.
Original “antique green” lacquer.
High quality craftsmanship, riveted wrought iron and chiseled bronze.
Good state of conservation, wear and small usual restorations.
French work late 19th century early 20th century.
Our opinion :
The outdoor living room that we present is inspired by the most beautiful French creations of the Empire and Restoration periods.
The antique inspiration of our seats with curule legs and lyre backs is delicately softened by the presence of swan necks straight out of the imagination of the Jacob house.
Our salon, which recalls the productions of the famous factory for Empress Joséphine, is probably a musicians' salon which adorned the park of an important property.
