In gilded bronze, standing, slightly swaying, helmeted and clad in an antique-style cuirass, the goddess holding her shield, the god holding his sword.
On half-column pedestals in green Genoa marble.
These two Antique-style sculptures, in the tradition of Italian Renaissance bronzes, are very much in the spirit of some of the wax or terracotta statuettes in Girardon's gallery (1628 - 1715).
