9th century Louis XV style inkwell in turquoise blue ceramic.
It features a magot dressed in a loose robe, belly exposed, seated on an energetically chased and gilded bronze rocaille terrace from which emerges a bouquet of flowers and the gilded bronze lidded inkwell, topped with foliage and centered with a floral bud forming a grip.
Very good condition.
