17th & 18th centuries Furniture and Statuary
Beautiful console in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer from the Louis XVI period. We will notice the elegance and nervousness of the curve of the sides.
It opens to a drawer on the front highlighted by a molded bronze frame.
The uprights have turned, fluted and roughened barrels.
The crotch shelf, in veined gray-white marble, is set in an openwork gallery in gilded bronze and rests on four fluted spindle legs furnished with collars and sabots.
The upper marble top in the same tone is also set in an openwork gallery.
Note the very beautiful ornamentation in bronze and brass arranged on the three sides: scrapers, openwork gallery, belt moldings and flowers on the attachment cubes,..
