Gilt bronze and patina "Feu à galerie" with dog and rosette decorations.
A pair of fires, representing the same dogs, can be found in 1807 in the Emperor's cabinet at the Palais de Rambouillet (inventory O2 724).
A screw is used to adjust the length.
Condition report: Very good condition, one clamping screw added, redecorated in the 1950s.
