Offered by Anne Besnard
This round dish with a scalloped edge is decorated with a double fillet around the rim. It bears various hallmarks: a "fleurette" is the 1768-1774 charge for the small works of the Paris community, and the discharge for the same period is a helmeted head turned to the right. The master silversmith is Jacques Pierre Marteau, received in 1757 and deceased in April 1779. The letter date is a crowned H for the period from July 1771 to July 1772.
