Sometimes creating animal and orientalist works, Drouot's sculptures, whether animals or people , are characterized by a sense of movement and an expressive touch .
Born April 3 , 1859 in Sommevoire , France , he studied with Mathurin Moreau at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1889 .
