This exceptional display case is composed of a central body, the display case itself with a curved door and a hanger is attached to small shelves, an overflowing and scalloped bottom gives it its architectural elegance.
This small piece of furniture is entirely covered with marquetry with the motif of perspective cubes and rosewood bands with inverted herringbone threads.
One side of each cube is dyed bright green.
Inside the showcase large patterns with veneer hangers adorn the three sides.
Gilded bronze nets with oval and cabochon friezes visually structure this beautiful piece of furniture.
On the back the label Alphonse Giroux et Cie indicates a production around 1850, 1870. This prestigious house made incredible objects for princes and kings (Louis XVIII for example) and universal exhibitions .This model in the window is absolutely not found.
