Pair Of Rococo Angels In Gilt Wood, Early XVIII th c.

These angels, or putti, in gilt wood, express perfectly the rococo spirit, by the flight of their draperies, their hair, and the theatricality of their postures.
Conservation : some restoration to the gilding, accidents and small gaps, galleries of wood-boring insects, especially visible on the reverse. Otherwise good condition. Rings on the reverse side for suspension.
