The chests of drawers forming a so-called “jumping” pair are curved on all sides and open with two drawers on the front inlaid with flowers on a rosewood background framed with amaranth. The curved sides are also inlaid with flowers on a rosewood background framed with amaranth. The front pillars are trimmed with drops, stylized moldings and wrap-around hooves. they are furnished with marble tops from Flanders, molded on their fields with a “bec de corbin”.
Work stamped on the two chests of drawers Jean Popsel born in 1720, received master on July 5, 1755.
