Louis XV Commode in marquetry of flowers in satinwood and framed with scrolls in Amaranth. Model two drawers without crosspiece decorated with chased and gilded bronzes and topped with its red marble Griotte (partridge eye) with Corbin beak.
Parisian work of the Louis XV period, stamped by the cabinetmaker François Garnier who died in Paris in 1774.
This cabinetmaker worked on rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine during the whole reign of Louis XV. He made mainly Louis XV style furniture of great quality, which reflect his talent.
