A Louis XVI bureau plat in mahogany and mahogany veneer, with leather lined rectangular top with molded ormolu border, the panelled frieze opening by two drawers with ormolu laurel wreath handles and keyholes, and pannelled with conforming simulated drawers to the reverse, on four circular tapering fluted legs, headed by ormolu collars and ended by gilt-bronze foliate cast feet.
