A Louis XV ormolu and patinated bronze mantel clock.
The clock, in the form of a cartel, is supported by four dolphin heads, decorated with shells, seaweed braids and surmounted by a cherub blowing a sea horn, sitting on a dolphin. The chasing is very well done.
The movement is with anchor suspension, it is signed on the plate: VINCENTI. 1856 ;
Ringing at the hours and half-hours;
The dial is signed: "Compagnie des bronzes à Lille" In 1878, the Company obtained a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
