Decorative art from 18th to 20th century
House Baguès.
Chandelier in glass and gilded iron.
Circa 1920.
This chandelier by the Baguès house presents a crown with eight arms alternating between a light arm presenting a binet to which hangs a crystal pampille and an arm supporting an important faceted pampille surmounted by a flower. The shaft forms a cage at the base of which are arranged the eight console shaped arms of light of the lower level. They alternate between an imposing cup and a more discreet binet. The whole is finished with a large crystal drop.
This chandelier is distinguished by the numerous lighting points arranged not only on the arms of light but also in the central shaft.
