Our opinion :
With its rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes and its luminous amaranth veneer, our chest of drawers comes from a prestigious Parisian cabinetmaking workshop.
who perfectly mastered the Boulle marquetry technique.
Some big names of cabinetmakers can be mentioned for this type of furniture, but current knowledge does not allow the author to be isolated with certainty.
If too often the dressers of this time have lost their original top, this is not the case with our model which is presented in its perfect original condition.
