The Three Kingdoms - Ink and ink wash on silk - China 19th century

Important painting in ink and ink wash on silk illustrating an episode of the three kingdoms.

The three brothers-in-arms known as sworn brothers:
Guan Yu armed with a guandao (top),
Zhang Fei armed with a spear (center),
Liu Bei armed with two swords (bottom),
represented at the pass of Hulao, launched in pursuit of
Lü Bu armed with a sword (bottom right) and fleeing,
the armies on the heights.

Condition: the work is presented in a nice original condition
(some alterations and traces of old folds)
and in a very nice frame
(black lacquered wood frame with convex stave, 3 mm anti uv and anti reflection glass).
