P. Valmon is the pseudonym of Eugène Henry Cauchois (Rouen 1850 - 1911 Paris).
Student of Ferdinand Duboc and Alexandre Cabanel, Henry Cauchois specialised in still life compositions. His paintings are in the national museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts d'Angers, Rouen, Perpignan, Louviers, Musée d'Ingres in Montauban. The artist participated first time in the Salon de Paris in 1874 and exhibited his works at the Salon des artistes français in 1881, 1890, 1898, 1904 and 1908. He also participate in the Universal Exhibition in 1900.
