A Pair of Consulat mahogany chairs

Made of mahogany with filet, their elegant pelta-shaped back decorated with a shell.
This motif of a Greek shield is particularly in keeping with the taste for antiquity in this martial period of the extreme end of the 17th century.
They stand on sword-shaped legs.
