Louis XVI marquetry corner cabinet - stamped by Topino

Beautiful corner cabinet in marquetry, opening a door. Decorated with chiseled and gilded bronze, it is topped with a molded white marble with cavet. Beautiful marquetry of simulated flutes, the door with central projection is veneered with satin, decorated in the center of a large jagged rosette in amaranth in a framing of nets with 4 small rosettes in the 4 corners. The structure is entirely in oak. Stamped by Charles Topino and stamped JME, early Louis XVI period, circa 1780.

Charles Topino, master in 1773, is one of the greatest French cabinet makers of the 18th century. Excellent condition, furniture completely restored by our cabinetmaker with a superb varnish with the stamp redone to new.
