Louis XVI period secretary, in amaranth marquetry, rosewood, boxwood tinged with green, fruit woods and burnt woods on an oak and fir frame, presenting a rich decoration of flowery vases on the floors checkered pattern against rosewood background underlined with fillets. The flap presents a rare decoration in perspective of an orangery in winter opening on a backdrop of the landscape. Rectangular in shape, it opens with a large drawer, a flap revealing four lockers and six drawers and in the lower part, with two doors. Rounded uprights and tapered legs with simulated grooves. Ornamentations of bronzes arranged in reserves. The flap lock decorated with an engraved decoration of pastoral scenes. French work from the East of France of very good quality, combining Parisian, Germanic and Italian influences. Very good condition Restorations of use and maintenance.
