A Large Louis XV giltwood Console

Large console in walnut richly carved and gilded.
The belt richly carved movement with a large asymmetrical shell foliage, openwork, flanked by garlands of foliage flowers on a background of trellis.
It rests on four feet in double volute decorated in their top of a cartouche filled with a foliage rolled up above palms and foliage, ending in scroll of acanthus. They are joined by a strut centered on a large openwork asymmetrical shell.
The sides carved with a beautiful openwork shell centered around foliage on a background of trellis.
Grey veined marble top in the shape of a crossbow.
Early Louis XV period.
Very good condition.
