18th C Louis XV Commode (chest of drawers) said « in arbalète (crossbow) ». Comprising 3 drawers carved in front with scalloped cartouches. Prominent mouldings on the drawers and the round uprigths on shell feet. The top with a nozzle of corbin is in a single piece. The sides are with prominent panels. Period handles in bronze decorated with foliage. In walnut wood. From Provence (Aix-Marseille).
