Louis XVI period cylinder desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer on an oak frame of high manufacturing quality. It opens with three stepped drawers, a cylinder revealing lockers, three small drawers, a sliding leather-covered top, two side zippers and four front drawers, including the right one containing a secret. It rests on four deeply fluted feet adorned with rings and terminated with gilt bronze roller clogs. The panels soberly underlined with brass threads. Entries with clover locks. White veined marble top surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
