Saint-Cloud Soft-paste porcelain snuff bottle 1738-1744

A snuff bottle and its cover in Saint-cloud Soft-paste porcelain in a rococo shape, decorated in polychromy in the Kakiemon style with characters on a terrace with a flowered hedge and vase characteristic of this type of decoration, the whole in relief rocailles scrollwork. The sides are decorated with flowers and butterflies.

Silver setting with Paris relief hallmark with salmon head 1738-1744

This model can be compared to the one kept at the Museum of Naples which is decorated with a portrait in relief of Louis XV.
