Covered porcelain terrine from the Compagnie des Indes de la Famille Rose, octagonal in shape with scalloped edges. It rests on a flared base, with polychrome decoration of bouquets of flowers wrapped on each side and garlands of flowers and foliage enhanced with gold. The lid has a socket representing an exploded pomegranate and two shell holds on the sides. Presence of some wear in the decoration, pomegranate formerly glued with a restoration on the branches and old restorations on the shell plugs. Origin: China for order, for export from the XVIIIth Century.
