Offered by Le Cabinet d'Amateur
A large circular dish with a wide wing of 57 cm in diameter, made of Nevers faience, decorated in blue camaïeu of great fire enhanced with manganese on blue enamel:
- on the basin of a hunting scene composed deer on the right riders waiting on the bank chased the deer and left the dogs and the bell-ringer.
This scene of great finesse is surrounded by a double line delimiting the basin.
- on the wide wing, a sumptuous oriental-inspired decoration representing foliage of flowers, insects and birds.
This exceptional dish by the delicacy of its decor was realized between 1660 and 1670.
Very good condition a tiny feast restored.
