DUVINAGE Ferdinand (1813-1874) and Maison Alphonse Giroux, Paris Circa 1880
In all four sides and the lid are embedded ivory inlaid plates of precious polychrome wood decor with a crest, leaves and bugs chestnut whose branches are cloisonné gold metal. Opens on the front side.
Monogrammed "Bte FD" on the ivory cover and engraved: "Alph: Giroux Paris" in the internal border under cover.

condition: a small branch of copper missing, upper ivory panel slightly curved, some traces on the gilding.
